Remembering Tom Barna

We are sad to share the news of Tom Barna's passing with you.

Tom was the Chief Engineer of WBCQ. He was responsible for KIXXFM, WXME-98.3FM The Fox, and the Classic WBCQ Shortwave Stations 5.110,7.490 and 6.160

He was also tasked with running the "Superstation" 9330, one of the most powerful shortwave stations in North America, which is the worldwide headquarters of WLC Radio.

Tom was proud to be a Veteran, having served in the US NAVY.

Tom was a daily presence at the WBCQ Complex of stations for a number of years and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
